ICT BUSINESS ANALYST

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

·Liaising with business stakeholders in manufacturing, production, warehouse, anddistribution teams to gather and document business requirements.
·Analysing current business processes relating to production planning, inventory control,order management, and distribution workflows.
·Identifying inefficiencies in operational systems and recommending ICT-basedimprovements.
·Documenting functional and non-functional requirements for system enhancements andbusiness applications.
·Preparing business requirement specifications, process maps, workflow diagrams and usecases.
·Evaluating existing ERP, inventory, production tracking, and reporting systems used withinthe organisation.

·Supporting the design and implementation of improvements to business systems used inmanufacturing and distribution operations.
·Working with software developers or vendors to ensure system solutions meet businessrequirements.
·Assisting in system testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT) for new or modifiedsystems.
·Supporting data analysis and reporting to improve production, inventory accuracy, anddistribution performance.
·Developing documentation and user guides for business systems and processes.
·Supporting training of users on new or updated systems.
·Collaborating with management to improve operational efficiency through systemenhancements and process automation.
·Ensuring system solutions align with business objectives in manufacturing and distributionoperations.

Skills and Experience

A Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, InformationSystems, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a closely relatedfield.
At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in ICT Business Analyst role within amanufacturing, food processing or industrial environment.
·Strong understanding of business process analysis, workflow mapping and systemmodelling techniques used to evaluate and improve business systems.
·Excellent organisational, scheduling and planning skills to support requirements gathering,system analysis and project coordination activities.
·Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify business inefficiencies andrecommend system or process improvements.
·Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and endusers to clarify requirements and support solution delivery.
·Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements within a manufacturingenvironment, ensuring that system requirements and business processes align withoperational compliance needs.
