Hiring For Software Engineer – AI / Claude Developer

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience working with Claude (Anthropic APIs) or equivalent LLM platforms for code generation, automation, and developer workflows.
• Strong expertise in prompt engineering, prompt templating, context design, and response optimisation.
• Experience designing and implementing Claude-based plugins, tools, or extensions, including API-based tool integrations, function calling or tool invocation patterns, and context-aware workflows for engineering tasks.
• Ability to design secure and governed LLM usage patterns, including data masking, PII controls, auditability, and access management.
• Experience building custom integrations or plugins for IDEs such as IntelliJ and VS Code, CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab and Jenkins, and developer portals or internal platforms.
• Strong backend development experience for plugin services using Java/Spring Boot, Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
• Experience integrating AI into code-review workflows, test-generation pipelines, documentation automation, and ChatOps or DevOps assistants.
• Experience improving developer productivity through AI-assisted tooling and automation.
• Ability to automate code scaffolding, refactoring recommendations, test-case generation including unit, integration, and contract tests, and API documentation generation.
• Experience building self-service developer tools and internal engineering platforms.
• Strong expertise in building scalable microservices, REST APIs, and integration services.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, containerisation using Docker, and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Experience integrating AI services into event-driven architectures, preferably using Kafka.
• Strong understanding of Git-based version control, GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience embedding AI capabilities into CI pipelines, including automated code checks, review suggestions, build validation, and quality gates.
• Ability to promote a test-first, quality-driven engineering culture.

• Ability to act as an Individual Contributor Engineer with end-to-end ownership of technical deliverables.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for AI-integrated systems.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, security, platform, and product teams.
• Excellent communication skills to support AI adoption and developer-enablement initiatives.
• Hands-on exposure to multiple AI coding assistants, including Claude, GitHub Copilot, GitLab Duo, Codex, or similar tools.
• Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases such as Pinecone or OpenSearch, and LangChain or similar orchestration frameworks.
• Experience building enterprise AI platforms, internal developer portals, or AI-enabled engineering tools.
• Ability to build and maintain Claude-powered plugins, workflows, and integrations.
• Ability to enable teams to adopt AI-assisted development workflows and define standards for responsible AI usage in software engineering.
• Experience improving developer productivity metrics through AI automation.
• Experience collaborating with platform teams to embed AI capabilities into enterprise tooling.
