Head of Engineering – IoT & AI Platforms

Job Description

Responsibilities :

– Own end-to-end engineering execution across IoT, cloud, data and ML systems.

– Architect scalable, reliable, edge-aware systems for real-world conditions.

– Drive platform architecture and technical decisions.

– Build and scale high-performing engineering teams.

– Ensure system reliability, security, and performance.

– Collaborate with Product and Ops to translate domain problems into tech solutions.

– Oversee device-to-cloud systems, backend services and data pipelines.

Requirements :

– 9+ years in building complex systems (IoT / distributed / data platforms).

– Strong cloud architecture experience (AWS/GCP/Azure).

– Hands-on with backend systems (Node.js preferred).

– Experience with ML systems deployed in production.

– Understanding of IoT, edge computing, and real-world system constraints.

– Proven engineering leadership in startups/scaling environments.

– Ability to own architecture + stay hands-on technically.
