Head of Design

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

– Define and evangelize the long-term UI/UX roadmap for company ensuring design serves as a competitive advantage in the market.

– Build, lead, and mentor a team of designers, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and creative rigor.

– Oversee the creation and evolution of scalable, elegant design systems and UI patterns that ensure brand parity across all platforms.

– Act as the ultimate gatekeeper for companys visual identity, ensuring every touchpoint reflects a premium and cohesive user experience.

– Partner with C-suite stakeholders, Product, and Engineering leaders to align design initiatives with overarching business goals and technical feasibility.

– Clearly articulate complex design challenges to non-design stakeholders, influencing product direction through user-centric logic and data-driven insights. Implement and refine design workflows, from rapid prototyping to final hand-off, ensuring the team delivers high-quality outcomes at scale.

– Conduct regular design reviews and critiques to maintain a high bar of execution across all visual and motion design projects.

Requirements :

– 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 35 years in a leadership or management role overseeing high-impact consumer products.

– A formal degree in Design (HCI, Interaction, Visual Communication) from a premier global institution.

– A proven track record of pushing the boundaries of visual and user experience; a recognized voice in the design community is a plus.

– Exceptional UI skills and a deep mastery of UX psychology, complemented by proficiency in industry-standard tools (Figma, Principle, Adobe Suite).

– Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at the board level and navigate complex stakeholder environments.

– Ability to integrate user research, data analytics, and constructive feedback into a winning design strategy.

– A comprehensive portfolio showcasing not only elite visual design but also your ability to lead teams and solve large-scale product problems
