Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced technology leader to oversee our Enterprise IT application development and maintenance landscape, which includes MS SQL Database,.NET development, PowerBuilder, AI-driven solutions, and front-end development.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with enterprise-scale IT systems, AI/ML-based application development, and modern web technologies such as ReactJS and Next.js.
This role demands a visionary approach to driving digital transformation initiatives, improving system performance through intelligent automation, and managing a large cross-functional IT team of over 50 professionals.
The candidate should also possess expertise in software development life cycles (SDLC), CMMI implementation, code audits, and Agile/DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Enterprise IT Leadership :
– Oversee the end-to-end application ecosystem across enterprise systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives and scalability for future growth.
– Drive modernization and integration of legacy systems into AI-enabled platforms.
2. Database & Backend Management :
– Oversee and manage MS SQL databases for optimal performance, security, and reliability.
– Collaborate with DBAs on upgrades, backups, performance tuning, and data governance.
3. AI & Intelligent Automation :
– Lead initiatives for embedding AI/ML models, predictive analytics, and automation tools within enterprise applications.
– Collaborate with data science teams to operationalize AI solutions, such as chatbots, recommendation systems, and process automation.
– Promote the use of Azure AI, OpenAI APIs, or TensorFlow/PyTorch frameworks where applicable.
4. Application Development Oversight :
– Lead the .NET, PowerBuilder, and AI application teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality, maintainable solutions.
– Oversee front-end development using ReactJS, Next.js, or other modern frameworks for seamless user experiences.
– Ensure adherence to best practices in UI/UX design and responsive web architecture.
5. Coding and Testing :
– Define coding standards, enforce peer reviews, and maintain version control discipline.
– Oversee manual and automated testing (using Selenium or similar) to ensure reliability and performance.
– Integrate AI-assisted testing tools and CI/CD automation pipelines for faster releases.
6. Change Request (CR) Management :
– Manage change requests, perform impact analysis, and ensure proper documentation.
– Align CRs with organizational IT governance and compliance standards.
7. CMMI & Process Excellence :
– Implement and monitor CMMI frameworks to improve development maturity and process quality.
– Establish continuous improvement programs leveraging Agile and DevOps principles.
8. Code Audits & Quality Assurance :
– Conduct regular code reviews and audits using both manual and AI-driven tools to ensure compliance, performance, and security.
– Recommend corrective measures and mentor teams in coding excellence.
9. Team & People Management :
– Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of 50+ IT professionals across multiple technology domains.
– Foster a collaborative, learning-oriented culture that embraces innovation and AI adoption.
– Ensure optimal resource allocation, succession planning, and professional growth.
