Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging print materials including brochures, event program booklets, mailers, flyers, banners, apparel, and large-format signage from concept to print-ready delivery.
  • Design digital assets for social media, email campaigns, web pages, and digital displays.
  • Help lay out and produce our quarterly magazine, working closely with the marketing team to ensure a polished final print and digital publication.
  • Ensure all visual assets reflect our brand guidelines, maintaining consistency, quality, and a cohesive look across departments.
  • Work directly with program leads and the marketing team to brainstorm concepts, take project briefs, and turn requests into visual work.
  • Prepare print-ready artwork, select paper stocks/specs, and coordinate with print vendors to ensure projects are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Keep our digital asset library (logos, photos, templates, fonts, and finished files) well-organized and easily accessible for the team.
  • Provide supplemental photography coverage for events, programs, marketing initiatives, and social media campaigns when needed.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of hands-on graphic design experience (in-house, agency, or non-profit/association background is a plus).
  • A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Art, or a related field—OR an equivalent portfolio showing strong design experience.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and comfortable using Canva for quick-turn assets and team templates.
  • Solid understanding of typography, print pre-press processes, color management (CMYK vs. RGB), and working with external print vendors.
  • Comfort handling multiple design projects at once, managing your time well, and meeting deadlines in a steady workflow (experience with tools like Monday.com is a bonus).
  • Strong communication skills with an open, receptive approach to design feedback and team collaboration.
  • Comfortable working on Mac OS and familiar with standard workplace software (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, basic WordPress/web management tools).
  • Photography and/or videography experience preferred.
