Graphic Designer

Job Description

The Role:

This hands-on role is responsible for creating packaging concepts, artwork and visual assets that support new product development and brand growth initiatives across our portfolio. You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders while ensuring all designs meet brand standards, technical requirements and production deadlines.

Key duties include:

• Creating packaging design concepts for new product development
• Producing packaging mock-ups for internal approvals and retailer presentations
• Preparing and finalising artwork for print and digital production
• Reviewing artwork to ensure consistency, accuracy and compliance with brand guidelines
• Setting up files to correct production specifications including bleed, trim, dielines and colour profiles
• Managing artwork libraries, master files and version control
• Maintaining colour accuracy across packaging and marketing materials
• Troubleshooting artwork and production issues
• Implementing artwork changes efficiently and accurately
• Supplying high-quality images and assets for retailer, website and digital marketing use

About You:

• Tertiary qualification in Graphic Design or a related discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a Graphic Designer
• A strong portfolio demonstrating creative and technical design capability
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong typography, layout and visual design skills
• Ability to interpret briefs and translate ideas into effective visual communication
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Experience in FMCG packaging design will be highly regarded
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering high-quality work
