Graphic Designer IV in San Diego, CA. Summary: We are building the creative team that defines what performance marketing looks like in the AI era and we want a senior designer who is ready to be at the center of that. This isn’t a make-it-pretty role. It is a craft-meets-strategy position where your work is measured in clicks, conversions, and innovation. As a Senior Designer on the Performance Creative Team, you will own the visual execution of creative across paid social, video, and display. You will bring sharp design instincts and genuine fluency in AI-powered tools, partnering closely with creative strategy, media, brand and marketing teams to turn audience data and business goals into ad experiences that earn attention and drive action. The ideal candidate thinks in experiments, moves fast, and is as comfortable analyzing test results as they are opening Figma. If you are excited by the idea of blending traditional design craft with AI-powered production and want your work to be seen by millions of small business owners, this is the role for you. Duties:

  • Produce short-form video cutdowns and motion graphics tailored to platform specs, attention windows, and conversion goals
  • Edit and repurpose existing video and visual assets into platform-ready ad units: fast, clean, and on-brand
  • Partner with creative strategy, media, and analytics teams to develop A/B tests that are structured to generate actionable insights
  • * Translate creative briefs and data signals into design decisions, iterating on what’s working and pushing in new directions when something isn’t
  • Maintain brand consistency while finding creative solutions within constraints, adapting the client’s visual identity to different audiences, moments, and placements

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of design experience with a clear focus on performance marketing
  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Hands-on experience with AI design and image generation tools, including Claude Design, Higgsfield, Nano Banana, or comparable platforms
  • Video editing and motion graphics skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent tools
  • A portfolio that demonstrates both craft and performance thinking
  • We want to see beautiful work and understand why it worked
  • Strong communicator who can clearly articulate creative decisions and collaborate effectively with non-design stakeholders
  • Genuine curiosity about AI, automation, and where the industry is heading, with a track record of learning independently rather than waiting to be trained
