About The role
The role mainly involves print design for product packaging, from creative concepts and layouts through to final art and print management which includes liaising with manufacturers to ensure print production is completed on time and to customer’s needs. Working in a small team and reporting to the Creative Director, your main objective will be to produce exceptional design work across Product Packaging, Presentations, Catalogue’s and design layout of product manuals.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills:
- Minimum 3 years Graphic Design experience with a focus on packaging
- Very Strong Proficiency in Adobe – Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design required.
- Knowledge and understanding of digital printing techniques and prepress.
- Display creative initiative and confidence to propose design solutions.
- Must be detail-oriented and ability to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and priorities.
- Outstanding ability to communicate both internally and externally, with written and verbal skills.
- Ability to follow style guides for multiple brands.
- A strong appreciation of timelines and ability to liaise effectively with third party print company and manufacturers to ensure outcomes are achieved.
- Basic Microsoft Office application knowledge (word, excel, etc).
- Have pride in their work with a high attention to detail.
- Capable of working autonomously, as well as with other designers.
- Have great communication skills and fluency in English.
- Seize the opportunity to learn new skill sets, with motivation to improve.
