Job Description
We’re looking for a Graphic Designer who thrives on translating complex ideas into visual clarity. You’ll be responsible for creating digital and print assets that feel custom-built—not templated—for a brand with strong opinions and an evolving voice. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling and strategy, requiring someone who can push beyond aesthetic to communicate effectively across various mediums including product interfaces, campaign materials, and sales enablement tools.
The ideal candidate is not just proficient in design software but curious about what makes an audience pause, engage, and remember. You’ll work with copywriters, product managers, and developers—so fluency in cross-functional collaboration is a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Design visual assets for campaigns, product launches, and content initiatives—ranging from digital ads to microsites, pitch decks, trade show booths, and in-app graphics
- Interpret creative briefs that may be vague or technical and turn them into thoughtful, audience-specific visuals
- Collaborate closely with product designers to ensure brand cohesion across marketing and product environments
- Proactively contribute to brand evolution by suggesting new formats, visual styles, or messaging hierarchies based on performance data
- Create and maintain a living marketing design system with re-usable assets and updated brand guidance
- Occasionally support quick-turn stakeholder requests while maintaining quality and consistency
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- 3–5 years of design experience in an in-house or agency setting with a strong portfolio of brand and marketing work
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop); After Effects a plus
- Demonstrated experience in layout design for both digital and print formats, with a strong understanding of typography, spacing, and composition
- Ability to think in systems: you understand how to build adaptable templates that don’t look like templates
- Experience collaborating directly with copywriters, marketers, and developers; comfort receiving and incorporating feedback from non-designers
- Strong organizational skills—you know how to structure files, prep assets for handoff, and document design decisions clearly
Bonus (Not Required)
- Basic understanding of front-end capabilities (HTML/CSS knowledge helps with better communication with devs)
- Experience designing for SaaS or data-heavy products
- Ability to speak to the “why” behind your design decisions in a way that’s accessible and strategic
