Job Description

The role will be liaising with Producers and Reporters, helping them clearly communicate stories to the public. This is a fast-paced role that requires effective and accurate communication with excellent time management as tight deadlines need to be met with the delivery of high-quality graphics production.

Functions will also include:

• Production of 2D/3D static and animated graphics: Receiving and processing graphic requests from Producers and Reporters. Ensuring all deadlines are met with quality graphics that fulfil all the requirements of the request; are accurate, clear, visually appealing and in the tone of the story.
• Shift Leading: attending morning editorial meetings, helping manage daily workloads so that deadlines are met, liaising with the Executive Producers from each market, and quality-checking graphics.
• Helping train junior designers to advance their skills and knowledge.
• Working on projects (e.g. graphics packages, themed elements, new templates, etc.)
• General team admin support as required.
