Job Description

About the Role

We’re hiring a Fullstack Developer who thrives on solving real product challenges end-to-end—not just shipping features. You’ll work on high-traffic systems with evolving architecture, where product iteration speed and code performance are both equally important. If you’ve ever thought “why are we building it this way?” and then rewrote it to work better, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with product and design to build user-facing features that are fast, reliable, and intuitive
  • Build and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs that support dynamic frontend experiences
  • Own features from design to deployment, including instrumentation, metrics, and alerting
  • Architect scalable components that minimize rework as the product evolves
  • Debug issues across the stack – you’ll jump between the frontend, backend, and infra when needed
  • Participate in technical planning and code reviews, especially for performance-sensitive modules
  • Write code that prioritizes readability, traceability, and low maintenance overhead
  • Collaborate with DevOps and QA to automate workflows and improve deployment cycles

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React (with hooks), TypeScript, Tailwind, Vite
  • Backend: Node.js, Express/Koa, PostgreSQL, Redis, WebSockets
  • Infra: Docker, AWS (ECS, S3, RDS), GitHub Actions, Terraform
  • Monitoring: Sentry, Prometheus/Grafana, Datadog

We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on fullstack experience with modern JS/TS frameworks and backend APIs
  • Strong with data modeling, REST/GraphQL API design, and DB query optimization
  • Solid grasp of browser behavior, frontend performance, and bundler configurations
  • Exposure to CI/CD and container-based deployments (we don’t have a DevOps gatekeeper)
  • Able to write and maintain testable code across unit, integration, and E2E levels
  • Comfortable reading code you didn’t write and asking “why?” before adding more
  • Bonus: Experience with SSR or hydration strategies (e.g., Next.js, RSC), feature flagging, or schema migration tooling
