Job Description

We’re looking for a Fullstack Developer who thrives in a high-ownership, low-oversight environment and knows how to ship meaningful features without endless specs. You’ll join a compact, focused team building internal tools and customer-facing apps for a fast-growing B2B SaaS platform used by logistics and supply chain teams. If you’ve worked across frontend and backend stacks where product decisions are made collaboratively and not thrown over the fence, this role might be a fit.

Our current stack is React (Next.js) on the frontend and Node.js (Express) with PostgreSQL on the backend. Bonus if you’ve worked with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ or Kafka), third-party API integrations, and CI/CD pipelines. This is a hands-on role—expect to push code to production in week one.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement features end-to-end, from UI to database schema.
  • Collaborate with product managers and designers to scope, prototype, and build tools used by enterprise clients.
  • Refactor legacy components and services to improve performance, testability, and maintainability.
  • Monitor production deployments and resolve issues quickly with a “you build it, you own it” mindset.
  • Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning.
  • Write integration and unit tests using Jest, Cypress, or equivalent frameworks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a fullstack developer, ideally at a product-driven company.
  • Proficient in React (with hooks), Node.js, and RESTful API design.
  • Deep understanding of relational databases; experience with PostgreSQL preferred.
  • Experience with authentication and authorization flows (OAuth2, JWT, etc.).
  • Comfort working with Git, Docker, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
  • Solid debugging skills across client and server stacks.
  • Strong written communication—able to document decisions and write clear PRs.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with GraphQL or tRPC in production.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or GCP).
  • Interest in developer experience (e.g., building internal CLI tools, improving CI performance).
  • Prior experience working with large datasets or event-driven architecture.
