Full-Stack WordPress Developer

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance WordPress websites using Elementor
• Build and modify custom WordPress themes and plugins
• Ensure websites are responsive, high-performing and secure
• Work with clients and their IT teams to implement technical changes, including DNS and server configurations
• Contribute creative input to website design, layout and user experience
• Manage workloads, prioritise tasks and work independently to meet deadlines
• Troubleshoot technical issues across WordPress, hosting, plugins, forms and integrations
• Provide basic website training to clients when required

Must-Have Skills

• Tertiary qualification
• Digital agency experience
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience working as a Web Developer, including PHP, JavaScript and CSS
• Strong WordPress, Elementor and WooCommerce experience
• Strong experience creating custom themes and plugins
• Excellent written and verbal English
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with responsive design and development
• Comfortable interacting with clients over phone or video when needed
• Good understanding of servers, cPanel and DNS
• Ability to work independently and manage dynamic workloads
• Experience working with APIs
• Experience with website performance optimisation
• Experience setting up and managing Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
• Experience with AWS

Nice-to-Have Skills

These skills are not essential, but would be highly regarded:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Illustrator
• Some experience in SEO and Google Ads
• Some experience in video editing using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Some experience in post-production using Adobe After Effects
• Some experience in 360 panoramic tour software
