Role Overview :

As a Software Engineer II specializing in Full Stack development with PHP, Laravel, and React.js, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable web applications that power our healthcare technology solutions. You will contribute across the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and architecture to deployment and ongoing support, working closely with product managers, UX designers, and other engineering teams. This role directly impacts the usability and performance of our core products, ensuring healthcare providers have reliable and efficient tools to manage their practices and patient interactions.

Key Responsibilities :

– Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable full-stack applications using PHP, Laravel, and React.js for ModMed’s healthcare platforms.

– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and QA, to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver innovative solutions.

– Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices and coding standards to ensure system reliability and performance.

– Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring the quality and integrity of the codebase for team members.

– Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across the application stack to maintain system stability and user satisfaction.

– Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and technologies to enhance team productivity and product quality.

Required Skillset :

– Demonstrated proficiency in full-stack web development, with strong capabilities in PHP, Laravel, and React.js.

– Solid understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern UI frameworks.

– Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, including schema design, query optimization, and data manipulation.

– Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring secure and efficient communication between front-end and back-end services.

– Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.

– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, fostering effective teamwork within an agile development environment.

– A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.

– Adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, contributing to a high-performing team in our Hyderabad office.
