Job Description

The successful candidate will have the following skills:


● Strong experience with Node.js backend development.

  • Solid understanding of API architecture and backend service design.
  • Strong database fundamentals, including schema design and data modeling.
  • Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript across the development stack.
  • Comfortable working with Git, Unix CLI, and development tooling.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and translate high-level requirements into practical solutions.
  • Strong English communication skills.

● Strong Javascript skills

● Experience with web application frameworks such Meteor

● Experience using version control systems such as GIT

● A good understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS/Sass)

● A good understanding of back-end technologies (NodeJS, Express)

● Familiarity with web accessibility guidelines

● Experience making changes in the templating/rendering layer of web applications

● Diverse knowledge is preferred including experience with the following: Serverless, Docker, MongoDB, HTML/CSS, jQuery, Meteor, Bitbucket, NodeJS.

● Experience integrating with major 3rd party software APIs.

● Strong knowledge of web development concepts and languages (HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS, and MySQL).

  • ● Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • ● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • ● Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
