Frontend-Leaning Software Engineer

About the role:

We are looking for a Full stack Engineer with a strong frontend focus to join our team. This role priorities frontend expertise with the ability to contribute to backend tasks, ensuring seamless client-server integration. As a Fullstack Engineer, you’ll be joining our team working closely with our Research & Development and product development functions. You’ll be applying your knowledge to build modern, responsive user interfaces and visualisations that can enhance HEO Inspect, HEO’s proprietary NEI data and insights platform. With years of experience in this domain, the HEO team will help you expand your knowledge and skills to flourish in this exciting role.
We are looking for someone with:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar field
4+ years of industry experience in developing web applications on the cloud
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical & critical thinking skills and comfortable with experimenting to solve new challenges
Extensive knowledge in:
Frontend Technologies (Typescript and React)
Web Development (RestFul APIs, Django)
Python and/or any Object Oriented Programming Language
AWS Services and Products
Ability to continuously learn, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision.
Experience in building end-to-end applications on the cloud is considered a plus.
Background knowledge of orbital dynamics, robotics and image processing is considered a plus
