Frontend Engineer (React JS)

Job Description

Job Summary

You will apply your expertise in front-end development to analyze, develop, and test software solutions within agile teams, collaborating with UX designers to deliver user-centric applications aligned with Apple and Google design standards.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and test front-end applications using agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Develop mobile or web applications using technologies such as Swift, Kotlin, React Native, or Java to meet project requirements
• Apply knowledge of JavaScript concepts, modular architectures, and micro-services to design scalable and maintainable codebases
• Collaborate with UX designers to integrate user experience principles into application development
• Write and execute unit tests and UI tests to ensure code quality and functionality
• Utilize programming paradigms including object-oriented, functional, and reactive programming to implement robust features
• Use development tools such as Xcode, Android Studio, Webstorm, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, and Git to support continuous integration and delivery
• Adhere to Apple and Google design guidelines to maintain consistency and usability across platforms
• Manage dependencies effectively using tools like Cocoapods or Gradle to streamline build processes
• Apply sound knowledge of encryption algorithms to implement secure data handling within applications
• Document code comprehensively to facilitate maintenance and knowledge sharing
• Employ problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical challenges efficiently
• Participate in at least one Extreme Programming (XP) practice to enhance agile development processes

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience with Selenium for automated testing (preferably 1 year)
