Job Description

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer who thrives on creating real-time, high-performance web interfaces that go beyond static pages. This role is not about templating or tweaking off-the-shelf components — it’s about owning the frontend layer of our dynamic dashboard tools, internal platforms, and customer-facing data experiences. You’ll be working directly with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to develop features that require thoughtful engineering decisions, not just pixel pushing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain highly interactive UI components in React, emphasizing real-time data rendering and state synchronization.
  • Collaborate closely with UX designers to implement precise, consistent, and accessible designs using our internal component library.
  • Own the structure and performance of your pages — you’ll be expected to think about lazy loading, hydration strategy, and layout shifts.
  • Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks on the frontend.
  • Contribute to frontend architecture decisions, including refactoring legacy patterns and upgrading dependencies.
  • Participate in regular design-system improvements and component-level refactors.
  • Work closely with QA to implement automated visual regression and interaction testing (Cypress/Playwright).

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 3+ years of professional experience writing modern React (hooks-based) in production applications.
  • Strong grasp of state management patterns (context, Zustand, Jotai, or Redux Toolkit).
  • Experience working with build tools like Vite or Webpack and familiarity with module federation and code splitting.
  • Fluency with TailwindCSS or other utility-first CSS systems — this is not a CSS-in-JS shop.
  • Experience integrating with REST APIs and handling network failure cases gracefully.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and semantic HTML.
  • Git fluency and experience with code review tools (e.g. GitHub PR workflows).
  • Strong debugging and browser performance profiling skills.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with monorepos, Turborepo, or similar tooling for managing multi-package frontend projects.
  • Contributions to an in-house or open-source design system.
  • Background in data visualization (D3, Recharts, or custom canvas/SVG renderers).
  • Understanding of SSR, hydration strategies, and SEO concerns.
  • Familiarity with real-time technologies like WebSockets or polling strategies for live updates.
