Frontend Developer
Job Description
The Role
We’re looking for a React-focused Front-End Developer to join a collaborative team working on a range of high-traffic, consumer-facing digital products. You’ll be building modern, intuitive UIs that enhance user engagement and drive business growth. While your primary focus will be front-end development using React, experience or exposure to Node.js would be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, reusable front-end components using React
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to bring mockups and prototypes to life
- Work closely with back-end developers and stakeholders to deliver seamless integrations
- Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility
- Contribute to code reviews, architecture decisions, and agile ceremonies
- Help maintain design consistency and technical best practices across platforms
Skills & Experience
- Proven commercial experience with React.js (2+ years ideally)
- Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Familiarity with state management tools (Redux, Context API, etc.)
- Experience working with REST APIs
- Exposure to Node.js is highly desirable
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
