Job Description

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer who thrives on translating real user feedback into elegant, performant interfaces. You’ll work closely with product designers, backend engineers, and data teams to build tools that customers actually use—not just things that look good in a demo. You should be fluent in JavaScript (we use React + TypeScript), confident making architecture decisions at the component and module level, and pragmatic about trade-offs between ideal code and real deadlines.

Our frontend is complex: real-time data visualization, modular feature flags, and multi-tenant theming. If you’ve worked on a frontend codebase where performance, maintainability, and DX all mattered equally, you’ll feel right at home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain responsive, accessible user interfaces using React and TypeScript
  • Lead the front-end implementation of new features, from idea to production
  • Collaborate with backend developers to define clean API contracts
  • Optimize components for performance (code splitting, lazy loading, memoization)
  • Contribute to internal UI libraries and design system evolution
  • Review PRs with empathy and offer actionable suggestions
  • Participate in weekly planning and actively shape technical direction

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 3+ years of frontend development experience with React and TypeScript
  • Demonstrated experience building and scaling SPAs with modern tooling (e.g., Vite, Webpack, ESBuild)
  • Comfortable debugging performance issues in the browser (DevTools, Lighthouse, etc.)
  • Experience working in a component-driven development model (e.g., Storybook, atomic design)
  • Familiarity with automated testing: unit (Jest), visual (Chromatic), and end-to-end (Cypress or Playwright)
  • Clear understanding of accessibility standards (ARIA, WCAG) and how to implement them
  • Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system
  • Exposure to micro-frontends, SSR, or Next.js
  • Familiarity with analytics tools like Segment or Amplitude for user insight
  • Experience with real-time features (e.g., WebSockets or polling strategies)
