AI: Real working proficiency with large language models and AI tooling in your development workflow, and to support the proprietary developments we are building in-house.Hard skills and experience

• Minimum 3 years building and maintaining production websites, agency or in-house.
• Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Semantic markup is a habit, not something you do when an audit asks for it.
• WordPress at real depth: custom theme development, PHP, ACF and block development. You can work confidently in a codebase you did not write.
• Comfortable in a CMS you have never used before. WordPress is our most common, but the portfolio runs across several platforms and you should be able to pick up an unfamiliar one and publish in it correctly the same day.
• Demonstrated Core Web Vitals work. You can open DevTools and tell us why LCP is 4.2 seconds and what you would do about it.
• Structured data and schema implementation beyond plugin defaults.
• Git and a proper deployment workflow. Staging, review, then production.
• GTM and GA4 implementation, including dataLayer.
• Working fluency in Screaming Frog, Search Console, Lighthouse and PageSpeed Insights.
• At least one site migration you have taken through to launch. If it went badly and you know exactly why, we would rather hear that than a clean story.
