Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Design and build sophisticated web applications using modern front-end technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
  • Translate UI/UX wireframes and mockups into functional, visually compelling, and responsive web pages
  • Build and maintain reusable code and component libraries for scalability and maintainability
  • Optimise applications for speed, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Integrate APIs and services to connect front-end interfaces with back-end systems
  • Collaborate with UX, Product, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver cohesive solutions
  • Drive analytics implementation to enhance user engagement and data-driven development
  • Champion the adoption of design system components across the organisation
  • Assist with system maintenance, documentation, and occasional after-hours support as needed

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a front-end software engineer
  • Expert proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Experience building and integrating UI components (native web component and Lit experience preferable)
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility
  • Experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD environments
  • Experience with automated unit testing
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
