Front End Software Engineer
Job Description
About the Role As a Front-End Developer, you will contribute to the delivery of functional, scalable software using React and TypeScript, working alongside a wider team of engineers, analysts, and project stakeholders. You will help uplift front-end capability, contribute to framework decisions, and mentor team members on React best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop modern front-end applications using React and TypeScript
- Work closely with business analysts, QA, and back-end developers to deliver integrated solutions
- Participate in solution design, code reviews, and technical discussions
- Support and mentor other developers in React-focused development
- Ensure development aligns with quality, security, and performance standards
Skills and Experience Essential
- Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript
- Background in building scalable front-end applications in enterprise environments
- Solid understanding of front-end architecture, state management, and component-based design
- Experience working with .NET APIs
- Familiarity with development tools such as Azure and Visual Studio
Desirable
- Experience with C#/.NET application development
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and risk mitigation
- Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional delivery teams
