Front-End Developer (Junior – Mid)

The Roles
We’re hiring two frontend developers to join our product engineering team: one junior and one mid-level.

Our frontend team works in a large, real-world Next.js codebase with shared systems, site-specific behaviour, and a steady stream of product improvements, bug fixes, experiments, and performance work. This role is a strong fit for someone who enjoys working inside an established product, shipping practical improvements, debugging tricky issues, and learning how to make good engineering decisions in a fast-moving team.

What you’ll work on

• Build and improve customer-facing features in a large React / Next.js / TypeScript codebase
• Work across both newer and legacy parts of the frontend as we continue to modernise the platform
• Debug site-specific issues in a multi-tenant environment where one codebase powers many websites
• Contribute to reusable UI, forms, search experiences, ecommerce flows, and content-driven pages
• Write safe, maintainable code and contribute to testing, code reviews, and incremental refactors
• Collaborate with designers, product, and other developers to ship changes that work in production
• Use AI tools productively to move faster, while still checking correctness, edge cases, and maintainability

What we’re looking for

• Good fundamentals in JavaScript / TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS
• Ability to read an existing codebase and make sensible changes without overengineering
• Confidence debugging issues and following problems through to a practical fix
• Clear written communication and comfort working in a remote team
• Good judgment when using AI coding tools:
  • you can use them to accelerate your work
  • you still verify output, test changes, and understand what you’re shipping
