Engineering Lead

Your new roleAs Engineering Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across the engineering function, ensuring the safe, efficient and high‑quality delivery of engineering services and projects. Working closely with senior leadership, clients and multidisciplinary teams, you will guide technical outcomes, manage capability and drive continuous improvement across engineering systems and processes.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading, mentoring and developing a team of engineers and technical professionals
• Providing technical oversight and governance across complex, multi‑disciplinary engineering projects
• Managing resources, priorities and workloads to meet programme and client requirements
• Driving best‑practice engineering, compliance and quality outcomes
• Supporting project delivery across design, documentation, commissioning and project management activities
• Acting as a senior technical authority and escalation point for clients and internal stakeholders

What you’ll need to succeedTo be successful in this role, you will bring strong technical credibility combined with proven leadership capability, including:

• Tertiary qualifications in engineering or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in an engineering leadership or management role
• Background delivering engineering services within industrial, process or project‑based environments
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and decision‑making skills
• A proactive, values‑driven leadership style with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement
