Job Description

Design and implement advanced enhancements that modernise both on-premise and cloud-based platforms, including integration of AI/ML capabilities where they deliver business value.
Explore and champion AI tools — including large language models, predictive analytics, and intelligent automation — to enhance trading operations and decision support.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, communicating approaches and progress clearly to ensure alignment and impact.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimise systems, streamline processes, and enhance documentation and operational practices.

Skills & Requirements

Strong C# and .NET development experience, with deep understanding of software design patterns and modern engineering methodologies.
Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure), including serverless technologies such as Lambda.
Advanced SQL skills and experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design and optimisation.
Practical experience applying AI/ML concepts — whether through LLM integration, predictive modelling, or intelligent automation — is highly regarded.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude) to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to design robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions.Excellent communication skills and a self-motivated, collaborative approach, with willingness to participate in an after-hours support roster.
