Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically proficient E2E Integration Tester to support the validation of complex integration flows across APIs, middleware components, and cloud-native services. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure platforms, specifically in troubleshooting using Azure Portal and Log Analytics, and in automating API testing using Azure DevOps toolchains. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that enterprise-level applications and interfaces work seamlessly from end to end.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integration test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
- Perform automated API testing using Azure DevOps and associated tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, custom frameworks).
- Troubleshoot integration issues using Azure Portal, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and KQL queries to identify root causes.
- Validate middleware and interface components, ensuring data integrity, payload validation, and message flow accuracy.
- Collaborate with development, architecture, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment on test scenarios and environments.
- Provide clear and concise defect reports, ensuring accurate tracking, root cause analysis, and resolution follow-up.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of test automation strategies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, providing QA input during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in troubleshooting integrations using Azure Portal and Log Analytics.
- Proven expertise in API test automation, integrated with Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Experience in designing and writing integration test cases for APIs and middleware interfaces.
- Good understanding of RESTful API protocols, payload formats (JSON, XML), and validation schemas (XSD).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect lifecycle management tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure Boards).
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, Azure Load Testing).
- Exposure to contract testing tools (e.g., PACT, Postman Contract Tests).
- Basic understanding of CI/CD automation, ARM Templates, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Awareness of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and API security concepts.
- Knowledge of containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
