EL1 Senior .NET Developer

Job Description

The successful candidates will bring strong Microsoft stack expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to deliver high-quality outcomes within agile delivery frameworks. Participation in a shared on-call support roster outside standard business hours may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop and maintain full-stack .NET applications within a Microsoft Azure environment.
• Deliver scalable and secure cloud-based solutions using Azure services including Functions, Logic Apps, PaaS SQL, API Management, Service Bus and Entra ID.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using YAML and manage software repositories.
• Build and enhance model-driven applications.
• Develop modern web applications using reactive JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Apply secure-by-design principles and ensure applications meet least privilege and Cyber ISM requirements.
• Collaborate within agile, multi-disciplinary teams to deliver business outcomes.
• Contribute to solution design and potentially provide technical leadership within delivery teams.
• Manage multiple high-priority work items in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:

• 5+ years’ experience in Microsoft .NET full-stack development.
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing cloud-based solutions in Azure.
• Experience with Azure resources including Functions, Logic Apps, PaaS SQL, API Management, Service Bus, Entra ID and YAML pipelines.
• Experience developing model-driven applications.
• Strong understanding of secure application development aligned with Cyber ISM and least privilege principles.
• Proven experience with modern reactive JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
• Experience establishing and managing source control repositories and CI/CD pipelines.

Desirable:

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capability with solution design experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver business outcomes within tight timeframes.
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
