EL1 DevOps Engineers

Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer, you will work with Container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and build pipelines to improve the development lifecycle and deployment of our services. You will work on systems at the forefront of technical excellence, and providing a large positive impact to the organisation and the Australian community.

Key Duties

• Design, manage and own packages of work, applying your experience and technical knowledge, and leadership skills to deliver a complete solution.

• Evaluate and understand key requirements in a packages of work, engaging with multiple teams to meet deadlines.

• Use strong interpersonal skills to engage with a variety of customers and stakeholders of varying technical literacy.

• Continuously utilise a high standard of communication skills, both in terms of writing and presenting to audiences.

• Establish, grow, and sustain internal and external stakeholder relationships.

• Demonstrate the ability to proactively and consistently lead a team to meet deadlines and ensure delivery against objectives.

• Achieve results within a team-based environment.

• Seek and undertake training and learning opportunities to build the technical and personal skills of your team and yourself.

• Support team members through training and mentoring, including providing performance feedback and specialist advice

• Work to cultivate a strong team culture, both within your team and across the organisation.
