Job Description

About the role:

This is a hands-on role across two brands. You’ll own the interface layer of our digital experience web, app, landing pages and lifecycle comms. You will bring the same standard of visual design to the campaigns that drive traffic to it. You’ll work in a small, senior design team where the work is collaborative and the feedback is direct, and you’ll have real input into how our digital experience looks and behaves.

If you care about type, grid, hierarchy and motion as much as you care about component naming and auto-layout, you’ll do well here.

Key Responsibilities but not limited too:

UI Design & Digital Product Surfaces

  • Design responsive, build-ready UI across the MYMC and Chefgood websites, app and landing pages from early exploration through to high-fidelity interface design.
  • Design conversion-critical flows and surfaces: PLP/PDP, cart and checkout, subscription management, loyalty and account pages.

Campaign, Social & Lifecycle Design

  • Design eDM and lifecycle email assets across acquisition, retention and win back programs, modular, template-aware and built for scale.
  • Design paid and organic social assets across Meta, TikTok and display, working to full-funnel briefs (TOF/MOF/BOF).

 Design System & Craft Operations

  • Maintain and extend our Figma design systems across both brands: components, variants, tokens, libraries and documentation.
  • Publish and QA non-CMS page updates in Plasmic, testing breakpoints across devices.

Collaboration

  • Work day-to-day with the Experience Design & Creative Lead, Product Designer, Motion Designer and Designer within the design team.
  • Partner with CRM, Social, Paid and Product stakeholders to understand objectives, constraints and performance feedback.

 Skills & Experience:

  • 3–5 years’ experience in digital design, ideally in-house or agency-side on a consumer brand or ecommerce business.
  • Advanced Figma skills: Components, variants, auto-layout, variables/tokens, libraries and prototyping. This is non-negotiable.
  • Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Experience designing email in a modular, ESP-friendly way (Klaviyo, Braze, Customer.io or similar).
  • Solid grasp of UX fundamentals: Usability, accessibility, information hierarchy and the judgement to apply them to real commercial problems.
  • Ability to work at pace across two brands with distinct identities, without diluting either.
  • Clear communicator who can articulate the reasoning behind a design decision.
