DevOps Technical Product Owner

Your new role

In this unique role, you will champion DevOps, DevSecOps & AIOps across the business and play a key role in evolving product vision in these areas. You will work with senior stakeholders in order to drive strategic initiatives and ensure the successful development of Product Owners & DevOps Engineers capabilities through coaching & mentoring.Key responsibilities will include;

• Own and evolve the DevOps product vision and roadmap, with a focus on automation, observability, incident reduction, and platform resilience.
• Drive incident and problem management maturity, working with teams to reduce a backlog of incidents by identifying patterns, root causes, and long-term fixes.
• Champion AI for IT Operations (AIOps) & identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML for predictive monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated remediation.
• Prioritise and manage the DevOps backlog, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical enablers.
• Coach and mentor other Product Owners and teams across the organisation to uplift DevOps practices, agile maturity, and cross-functional collaboration

What you’ll need to succeed

Ideally you will have experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner or Chapter Lead within a DevOps, Platform or SRE environment. You should have strong expeirence in ITIL practices and ideally have good knowledge of AIOps tools and concepts.

• Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, IAC & Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong knowledge of product strategy & delivery
• Good examples of creating a solid product vision
• Good knowledge of AIOps tools & concepts
