Job Description

We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer who thrives in environments where deployment velocity and infrastructure reliability are equally critical. You’ll be joining a fast-moving team responsible for scaling and securing our microservices architecture across multiple Kubernetes clusters and AWS environments. This isn’t a “keep the lights on” role — we’re rebuilding CI/CD pipelines to support multi-region rollouts, implementing infrastructure-as-code to bring consistency to ephemeral environments, and baking observability into every layer of the stack. If your ideal week includes automating tedious tasks, reviewing Helm charts, and collaborating with backend engineers to prevent incidents rather than react to them, you’ll fit right in.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable, fault-tolerant CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, and custom tooling.
  • Manage multi-region Kubernetes clusters (EKS) and develop GitOps workflows for environment parity.
  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (Terraform) across AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudFront.
  • Own monitoring and alerting pipelines using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Sentry.
  • Lead root cause analysis and blameless postmortems for production incidents.
  • Enforce secure-by-default practices — rotate secrets, validate IAM policies, and drive zero-trust principles.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design systems with operational excellence baked in.
  • Automate everything that’s done more than once — from staging setup to chaos testing.

Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering roles.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes in production environments, including Helm and kustomize.
  • Strong proficiency with Terraform and managing IaC in collaborative workflows.
  • Deep familiarity with AWS services, especially VPC networking, IAM policies, EC2, RDS, and EKS.
  • Demonstrable experience with observability stacks (Prometheus, Loki, Grafana).
  • Solid scripting and automation skills with Bash, Python, or Go.
  • Experience maintaining CI/CD systems — preferably GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
  • Strong understanding of containerization, image hardening, and supply chain security.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with service mesh architectures (e.g., Istio or Linkerd).
  • Knowledge of zero-downtime deployments and canary rollout strategies.
  • Background in threat modeling or secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC).
  • Hands-on with policy-as-code frameworks like OPA or Kyverno.
