Developer

Job Description

The Developer will be responsible to develop and maintain a range of scripts for its regression testing suite while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of regression tests relating to its grants management system and supporting suite of Microsoft365 tools.

As a secondary activity, you will be involved in grants management system form configuration, administration and support.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust scripts for regression testing suites to ensure the stability and reliability of grants management system, and supporting suite of Microsoft365 tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and identify test scenarios for effective regression script creation.
• Implement automation scripts that cover various aspects of regression testing, including functional, performance, and integration testing.
• Monitor and analyse test results to identify issues and collaborate with suppliers and teams members to address and resolve software defects.
• Regularly update and optimize existing test scripts to adapt to changes in software architecture and functionality.
• Work closely with test analysts to understand testing requirements and integrate them into the regression testing suite.
  

About You

• Proficient in scripting and coding languages such as Python, C#, or JavaScript.
• Experience in developing and maintaining automation scripts for regression testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with regression testing processes and tools.
• Use of Microsoft DevOps as central location for script storage.
• Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear and concise technical documentation.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining accurate records of scripts, processes, and tool functionality.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Capable of translating user requirements into actionable development and testing tasks.
