Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Business Central extensions in AL using event-driven architectures to customize ERP business logic cleanly.
• Architect secure web service integrations between Business Central and external applications (ERPs, CRMs, banking networks, e-commerce storefronts).
• Analyze system logs and telemetry using Business Central performance profilers and Application Insights to resolve locking, slow requests, and resource bottlenecks.
• Establish and manage automated build, test, and release workflows using GitHub Actions and AL Go across development, staging, and production environments.
• Enforce strict coding standards, conduct peer code reviews, and ensure codebases strictly adhere to Microsoft’s technical guidelines for cloud upgrades and AppSource publication

• 5+ years of dedicated software development experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central (and legacy Dynamics NAV), featuring expert-level proficiency in AL language, custom page/report extensions, codeunits, and event subscribers.
• Strong functional and technical command of standard Business Central modules, including Finance (GL, AP, AR), Supply Chain, Inventory, Purchasing, and Sales.
• Extensive experience connecting Business Central with external systems, CRMs, and e-commerce platforms using RESTful web services, OData, JSON, and OAuth2 authentication.
• Daily practice authoring automated unit and integration tests using the AL Test Framework, utilizing test isolation and mocks to ensure upgrade stability.
• Proven experience maintaining source code, versioning, and automated build pipelines using GitHub Actions, AL Go for GitHub, or Azure DevOps.
• Deep understanding of SQL Server fundamentals, Business Central telemetry, index tuning, and performance profiling to eliminate lockups and slow-running queries.

Nice-to-have:

• Practical experience navigating Microsoft AppSource validation workflows and technical compliance checks.
• Familiarity with the broader Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Dataverse synchronization.
• Exposure to Azure cloud services (Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Key Vault).
• Background in migrating legacy C/AL codebases (Dynamics NAV) to modern AL extensions
