Your new role

As a Salesforce Developer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of a major Salesforce project while operating within the BAU team. This is a hands-on development position where your primary focus will be on designing, developing, testing, and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions.
You will work closely with Business Analysts, Salesforce Administrators, Architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality technical deliverables.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Designing, developing, testing, and deploying Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Flows
Delivering project outcomes within agreed timelines and quality standards
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and solutions
Participating in solution design, sprint planning, and technical estimation
Developing integrations and automation solutions where required
Supporting SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities
Conducting code reviews and ensuring adherence to development standards
Preparing and maintaining technical documentation and deployment artefacts
Supporting post-deployment activities and knowledge transfer to ensure ongoing supportability

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong technical Salesforce expertise combined with experience delivering project-based outcomes in Agile environments.

You will have:

  • Proven experience delivering Salesforce implementations and enhancements, particularly across Service Cloud and Experience Cloud
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and Lightning Flows
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, security model, and development best practices
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps (or similar)
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments

Desirable:

  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I / II)
  • Experience with Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, integration platforms)
  • Background in Government, public sector, or large enterprise environments
  • Experience contributing to transformation or large-scale implementation projects
