Database & Reports Developer

Job Description

In this role you will have the opportunity to build reliable reporting systems in a fast-paced FinTech environment.

Responsibilities;

• Develop and maintain SQL Server stored procedures, views, functions, and complex queries.
• Design and maintain reports using Crystal Reports and similar reporting tools.
• Understand application functionality and data models, perform requirements analysis, and deliver report development, deployment, and configuration.
• Perform SQL query optimisation and database performance tuning.
• Support database development, troubleshooting, and data quality improvements.
• Assist with Azure SQL and Cosmos DB administration and monitoring (training provided).
• Produce technical documentation and follow development standards.

Skills & Experience;

• Strong SQL Server development and query optimisation skills.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Power BI, etc.
• Excellent SQL writing and analytical ability.
• Proven experience in requirements analysis and end-to-end solution delivery within time-bound project environments.
• Good understanding of relational database concepts.
• Exposure to Azure SQL or Cosmos DB administration is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
