Role Overview

We are seeking experienced Database Analysts to support data management, analysis, and optimization initiatives for a State of Florida project. The ideal candidates will have strong expertise in database systems, data analysis, and performance tuning within enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and maintain database systems to support business applications
• Perform data analysis, validation, and quality checks across multiple data sources
• Optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing
• Develop and maintain database documentation, data models, and data dictionaries
• Support ETL processes and data integration activities
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide timely resolution
• Ensure data security, integrity, and compliance with state standards
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Database Analyst or similar role
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL)
• Experience with data modeling, data analysis, and reporting
• Knowledge of ETL tools and data integration processes
• Familiarity with performance tuning and database optimization techniques
• Experience working in large enterprise or government environments is preferred
  

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality frameworks
• Exposure to BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau)
