Job Description

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating, updating and improving metadata in the Aristotle Metadata Registry
• Acting as a data steward for assigned domains
• Managing internal and external data access permissions and approvals
• Developing and maintaining the enterprise data glossary and related documentation
• Coordinating with SMEs, data owners and technical teams to validate metadata
• Supporting governance initiatives, data lineage clarity, and compliance requirements
• Supporting metadata‑focused projects and onboarding new datasets into the registry

What you’ll need to succeed

• Hands‑on experience with the Aristotle Metadata Registry or similar metadata platforms
• Proven background in metadata management, governance or data stewardship
• Strong documentation skills, including developing glossaries, definitions and metadata standards
• Understanding of data governance frameworks, data quality and data lifecycle management
• Experience coordinating metadata updates and working with business/technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of data access controls, permissions, privacy and compliance processes
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
• Experience in large, complex or regulated environments
• Familiarity with SQL, data modelling concepts or data lineage
