What You’ll Do
Global Networks & Technology – Network & Infrastructure Engineering designs and delivers Telstra’s network and infrastructure solutions, ensuring they’re reliable, scalable, and secure.Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and optimisation for production database environments
- Build, integrate, and support new database systems and applications
- Perform testing, validation, and acceptance activities for database solutions
- Contribute to DevSecOps delivery practices and ITSM processes
- Support high availability and disaster recovery configurations
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure system reliability
- Maintain and improve technical documentation and processes
- Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement across the team
About You
You’re a problem-solver who thrives in complex environments and enjoys working on mission-critical systems. You bring strong analytical capability and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in Database Administration across enterprise environments
- Hands-on with one or more: DB2, Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB
- Experience in high availability and disaster recovery technologies
- Exposure to system administration and production support
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience working in DevSecOps / ITSM environments
