Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Database Administrator with strong expertise in managing, optimizing, and securing enterprise-level Oracle databases. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in high availability environments, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and database security. The candidate must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling mission-critical systems with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database environments (Oracle 11g/12c/19c or later).
  • Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.
  • Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN and Data Pump.
  •  Implement and manage high availability solutions such as Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and replication.
  •  Design, implement, and manage real-time data replication using Oracle GoldenGate.
  • Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure maximum uptime.
  • Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Plan and execute database upgrades, patches, and migrations.
  • Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for database-related requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of database configurations, procedures, and standards.
  • Provide on-call support and resolve critical production issues.

Skills and Qualifications

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  •  08 years+ of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle architecture and database internals.
  •  Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, ASM, and Oracle GoldenGate.
  •  Hands-on experience working with Oracle Exadata (installation, configuration, and performance optimization).
  • Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning tools.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
  •  Experience in database security, auditing, and compliance.
  •  Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Oracle certifications (OCP/OCA) will be a plus
