About the Role
The Data Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Swinburne’s Employability strategy by delivering accurate, timely and actionable insights. Reporting to the Manager, Operations, Employability, this role is responsible for coordinating, analysing and interpreting data related to Employability and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs. The position ensures that reporting, dashboards and visualisations – such as those developed in Power BI – support evidence-based decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
In this role, the Data Reporting Analyst bridges the gap between data and business outcomes by translating complex datasets into meaningful insights that can be readily understood and applied by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of high level, quality data analysis and reporting within a demanding, client focused environment
- Demonstrated ability to analyse large data sets and develop meaningful reports from the data
- Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards
- High level written and verbal communication skills to ensure appropriate standards of communication to internal and external partners

Qualifications
Completion of a degree in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Systems or a related field with relevant experience
