Job Description

Key responsibilities

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or Database Development, with a strong focus on data migration.

• Oracle Expertise: Strong, hands-on experience with Oracle Database architecture (12c, 19c), PL/SQL development, and performance tuning.

• Migration Experience: Demonstrated experience participating in large-scale data migration projects, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).

• Tooling: Proficiency in advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or a similar enterprise-grade ETL tool. Experience with Oracle GoldenGate is highly desirable.

• Platforms: Experience with AWS cloud environments.

• Data Modeling: Good understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling concepts.

• Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex data-related technical issues.

• ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certifications.

• Familiarity with Python, shell scripting, or other modern data scripting languages.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

• Experience with 4GL/Coolgen technologies is nice to have.
