Responsibilities
- Enter and verify claims information, supporting documentation, and healthcare records with a high degree of accuracy
- Review claims forms and related documents to ensure completeness, correctness, and compliance with policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive healthcare and member data
- Meet productivity, quality, and accuracy standards while managing daily workload efficiently
- Utilize multiple healthcare systems and Microsoft Office tools to support claims processing and operational objectives
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve discrepancies and improve data quality
- Participate in training sessions and continuous learning initiatives to stay updated on policies and procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years of experience in data entry, administrative support, claims processing, healthcare operations, or related fields
- Strong typing and data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a strong sense of confidentiality and security regarding sensitive healthcare information
