Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:The Data Analyst will support tolling operations, customer accounts, and revenue systems by transforming complex data into actionable insights. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into data requirements and analytical solutions
  • Analyze tolling, transactional, financial, and operational data to support decision-making and performance monitoring
  • Identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and data quality issues across large and complex datasets
  • Develop and deliver standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations for executives, managers, and operational teams
  • Apply statistical and analytical techniques to evaluate business performance, operational events, and system behavior
  • Convert complex datasets into clear, concise, and business-friendly insights
  • Validate data accuracy by identifying gaps, inconsistencies, redundancies, and errors across source systems
  • Prepare comprehensive technical and analytical documentation to clearly explain findings and recommendations
  • Perform root cause analysis for operational issues, system defects, and unusual tolling or customer activity
  • Extract and integrate data from CRM systems, databases, and operational platforms to support routine reporting and executive inquiries
  • Support cross-functional initiatives and provide data insights for planning, forecasting, and future growth
  • Troubleshoot and document data, process, and system-related issues in coordination with technology and operations teams
  • Providing support for additional projects as required, including data to support planning for future growth

QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Must be self-starter
  • Ability to work with minimal direction in a fast paced / high-pressure environment
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and directly support the department managers
  • Good troubleshooting and error isolation skills
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills are required, including demonstrated ability to package analytical results into an executive summary and present to senior leadership.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, and SQL
  • Intermediate skills of Word and PowerPoint; along with other MS Office products, such as Visio, Access
  • Exercises logic and reasoning to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Experience or exposure to AI/ML and data science techniques (such as predictive analytics, anomaly detection, or pattern recognition) is a plus

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in business, management, economics, accounting, finance, information system or significant progress towards a degree.

  • 3 – 4 years in data analysis, research, compilation, and/or report writing and design work experience
