Data Analyst 

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality Natural LanguageSQL pairs for conversational analytics and dashboard applications.
• Translate business questions and dashboard use cases into natural, realistic user queries and corresponding SQL.
• Understand database schemas, table relationships, column definitions, metrics, dimensions, and business rules.
• Generate diverse NL-SQL examples covering simple, intermediate, and complex analytical use cases.
• Create multi-turn conversational examples where follow-up questions depend on previous user context.
• Validate SQL generated by AI/LLM systems for:
  • Syntax correctness
  • Schema and column accuracy
  • Join correctness
  • Filtering and aggregation logic
  • Date/time logic
  • Metric calculations
  • Business-rule adherence
  • Semantic alignment with the user’s question
  • Query-result correctness

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in SQL and analytical SQL.
• Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
• Experience with BI/dashboard analytics or reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into SQL logic.
• Experience reviewing or validating SQL queries is highly desirable.
• Experience with AI/LLM-generated content, text-to-SQL, data annotation, or AI evaluation is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with Python or scripting for automated SQL/data validation is a plus.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Snowflake, BigQuery, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar technologies is a plus.
