About The Role

This position is integral to supporting and enhancing an enterprise-level big data and analytics platform. The successful candidate will focus on data mining, analysis, and visualization to uncover insights that solve complex business problems. The role involves working closely with software development teams throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and providing essential business support. Responsibilities include contributing to data architecture design, validating data outputs, and supporting production data validation and investigations. In addition, the role requires triaging user inquiries, analyzing data to identify actionable insights, and ensuring the quality and integrity of data flows. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving business needs and technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis or related field
• Proficiency in SQL or other structured query languages
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a meticulous approach to data validation
• Solid mathematical background, with familiarity with physical-world measures
• Ability to quickly learn postal processes, terminology, and physical data sources (POS, scans, scales, etc.)
• Mastery of MS Office Suite, including Visio, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task efficiently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  

Responsibilities

• Support both the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and business operations as a versatile data analyst
• Provide input into data architecture design to ensure scalable and efficient data models
• Analyze data outputs to validate quality and communicate any gaps or issues to development teams
• Validate System Integration Testing (SIT) and Customer Acceptance Testing (CAT) results to ensure products meet acceptance criteria
• Assist in supporting production data validation and conduct investigations as needed
• Triage and investigate user inquiries related to data and analytics
• Query and analyze data to identify actionable insights that support business objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and quality
• Maintain thorough documentation of data analysis processes and findings
