Cybersecurity Manager

About you
You are an experienced or emerging cybersecurity leader who can drive security outcomes. Combining strong technical expertise with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and an understanding of the role of security within a complex regulated environment, you can work effectively with executives, technology teams and business leaders to strengthen cyber resilience and embed a security-focused culture.
You have successfully contributed to or led cybersecurity uplift programmes and understand how to balance governance, risk, compliance and operational outcomes. You are comfortable leading teams, influencing stakeholders and translating cyber risk into clear business decisions. This role is responsible for leading the organisation’s cybersecurity function, uplifting maturity, managing cyber risk and ensuring alignment with NSW Government cybersecurity requirements.
You will bring:
- Leadership of cybersecurity and uplift programmes.
- Expertise in cyber governance, risk and compliance.
- Experience improving security maturity and cyber resilience.
- Ability to embed security-by-design principles across technology initiatives.
