Job Description

Duties And Responsibilities

• Deliver live, instructor-led training programs that align with OffSec course content and certification objectives.
• Facilitate hands-on labs, guide technical exercises, and provide real-time support during training programs.
• Clearly explain cybersecurity concepts, tools, and techniques to learners with varying levels of experience.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to support both online and in-person learning formats.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages learner success.
• Collaborate with OffSec staff to ensure consistency, accuracy, and high-quality course delivery.
• Provide feedback on course content and suggest improvements based on learner engagement and classroom experience.
• Represent OffSec with professionalism during training engagements, including potential travel for on-site instruction.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging threats, and evolving cybersecurity practices to maintain subject matter relevance.
• International travel for in-person training engagements as needed.
  

Qualifications

• Has hands-on experience as a practitioner in the cybersecurity field.
• Demonstrates a strong commitment to the field of cybersecurity and a passion for knowledge sharing within the global community.
• Proven ability to design and develop instructional materials, including slides, labs, and technical challenges.
• Skilled in delivering training in both live, in-person settings and remote online environments.
• Holds a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or a related field, or possesses equivalent practical experience.
• Once selected, you must successfully complete our OffSec Instructor Bootcamp.
