Cyber Security Analyst 

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze security events from multiple sources including SIEM tools, firewalls, and IDS/IPS systems.

Investigate security incidents and determine their scope, impact, and root cause.

Implement and maintain security controls to mitigate risks and prevent future incidents.

Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend remediation actions.

Prepare detailed incident reports, documenting findings, actions taken, and recommendations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or similar platforms.

Knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.

Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools like Nessus, OpenVAS, or Qualys.

Understanding of common security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS Controls.

Ability to analyze logs and network traffic to detect anomalies and potential threats.

Experience with incident response procedures and best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment
